SUM-O-RAI TEAMS INC. will guide its student participants to continually create ‘Sumorai Kids World Festival’ productions, live-action CGI motion-capture animated cartoon TV series. The shows will be broadcast and distributed world-wide.  There will be licensing opportunities to sell reruns of the live event to TV networks to fill their reality TV demands.  Monthly local events and competitions will be produced and recorded for distribution as well.

 

Local Sumorai Kids World Festival production clubs will be formed in every major center worldwide through tours and events where the Sumorai Mascots (coaches) will make local appearances. The mascots will build the excitement for the brand, and promote interest in the local Sumorai Kids cartoon clubs.  Most importantly, they will be strong and respectable role models for our students, leading them through the guiding principles of Sumo to be moral and hard-working individuals who will strive to be their best in any endeavour and to seek out ways to make the world a better place in which to live.

The local clubs will use Sumo wrestling as a way of engaging kids in a useful and educational after­-school activity that will teach them the key life skills of discipline and respect.  Our initial Sumokids Initiative program has been field-tested over many years and proven to be very successful in keeping kids off the streets and focused on worthwhile activities.

Sumorai Kids World Festival introduces its youth participants to Cartooning & Animation production, introducing them to computer animation basics by providing them with examples of the animation field today, leading to live demonstrations and a complete interactive opportunity for kids that participate in the events.

​

The animation work force is looking for new and exciting talent and we feel that educating youth on various aspects of animation production will interest, inform and sharpen their creative minds.  Whether or not they are interested in eventually becoming an animator is not our focus; rather, we believe that an individual’s creativity will apply to any career they choose. 

 

The introduction to animation is only part of the complete program.  Our young participants will have the opportunity to assume roles such as judges, referees, dancers, rappers, and drummers, all wearing full face masks and in full-body superhero costumes, all as part of a youth explosive showcase.

It is always very difficult to get enough donations for a not-for-profit program to expand and flourish, particularly in the current economic climate.  However SUM-O-RAI TEAMS INC. will change all that by devel­oping the teams that will develop the brand and worldwide recognition for the program.  This will be done by sponsoring local demonstration shows with children who will compete in ongoing Sumorai Kids World Festival Regional, National and World championships. This exposure will then be leveraged into a "Sumorai Night in America".  This reality type production will catch the imagination of advertising sponsors.

By donating part of the box office proceeds to the Sumorai Kids World Festival clubs, SUM-O-RAI TEAMS INC. will energize the whole community to get involved.  This will create a literal army of volunteers promoting the events. Everyone from school officials to hospitals to the local police department will want to support the ‘Sumorai Kids World Festival’ cartoon production!
