​​At Sumorai Kids, we believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed and to unleash their full potential, regardless of their background or abilities. Since 2005, our original Sumokids Initiative has been successfully field-tested, guiding boys and girls through engaging training sessions that focus on leverage, positioning, and skill-building. This initiative has proven incredibly effective in keeping kids off the streets, engaged in meaningful activities, and paving a path to a brighter future.

      Introducing the Sumorai Kids World Festival (SKWF): A New Era of Empowerment​

Building on the remarkable success of the Sumokids Initiative, we are thrilled to launch the next phase: The Sumorai Kids World Festival (SKWF). This groundbreaking program is dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged students, including those with disabilities – indeed, all students – by combining the empowering elements of sports education with the creative magic of animation. SKWF is more than just a festival; it is a movement, a celebration, and a global community united by the shared vision of empowering youth.

      Experience the Thrill of the ‘Battle of the Sumorai Mascots’​

Imagine a world where young people come together to learn, grow, and compete in the ‘Battle of the Sumorai Mascots’ tournaments, embodying the timeless principles of Sumo: dignity, respect, hard work, grace, loyalty, clean living, and physical fitness. This is the heart of SKWF. 
But we go even further! Our youth participants will step into a new realm of creativity as they contribute to the production of a live-action CGI motion-capture animated TV series. Combining the excitement of sumo wrestling with cutting-edge animation techniques, they will have the chance to showcase their diverse talents, develop new skills, and take part in every aspect of creating a live SKWF production.

We’re not stopping in North America. Our vision is global. We are actively working to expand SKWF into Mexico, Africa, England, and beyond. By offering this unique opportunity, we aim to reshape the perspectives of our participants, giving them the tools to overcome obstacles and seize opportunities. We want every child to develop the confidence, skills, and mindset needed to achieve success in every aspect of their lives.
