​The Sumorai Kids World Festival (SKWF) production concept is born from – and is a continuation of – the initial Sumokids Initiative after-school program.  This new phase of our program is a unique and exciting venture dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged students and those with disabilities – indeed, all students – through sports education and animation.

We realize that many of our communities are full of kids who lack direction, often, for example, because of insufficient values, morals, and ethics in their home lives or in the schools they attend, or because of the various social influences in their lives.  SUM-O-RAI TEAMS INC. aims to change that!

 

Our after-school program aims to provide specialized physical training and learning tracks, combining the excitement of participating in the ‘King of the Mountain’ competition - a modified sumo wrestling tournament - with the thrill of animation production.

The training involved with Sumorai Kids World Festival is designed to provide students with background instruction and physical training/activity to help them learn and understand how to compete in Sumo.

In addition to the training and the practical aspects involved with creating the Sumorai Kids World Festival productions, once we are established, it is very important to us to that we somehow include a theoretical component as part of our overall Sumorai Kids World Festival program, to complement the practical portion and to enhance learning and education among our youth participants.
